Have you ever wondered how easy it is to make your own glass?

Join qualified tutor Colette Halstead as she guides you through the easy steps of making glass. Whether you chose one of her ‘make at home’ kits, or book a session at the studio you’ll be impressed with the wonderful pieces you can create.

Glass tutor Colette Halstead has a fantastic knowledge of teaching and has been sharing her glass making skills with others since 2005.

Workshops

Make at Home

Fun and easy to use glass making kits are available to purchase.

Included in each kit is everything you need to make your own piece of glass in the comfort of your own home. Clear instructions guide you through each step. Once you’re ready you to return your work to the studio for firing, postage included in the kit. Once fired your work is returned back to you to enjoy, or to give as a gift to another: make yourself a soap dish, or a hanging decoration for a loved one!

Also available with the make at home kits are virtual teaching session. Imagine bringing the tutor into your home to guide you through your glass making journey via the magic of a virtual workshop.

At The Studio

Join Colette in her fully kitted out glass making studio on the Lancashire coast, where you can gather to learn, laugh and make beautiful glass.

Glass making workshops for beginners and improvers are available for groups of between four to six adults. Pieces that can be made include: hangers, dishes, candle bridges, jewellery and much more. During each session you’ll create a finished piece, extra materials are available to purchased if you’d like to squeeze more in the kiln! After the session your work will be fired and arrangements made for your excited collection of your pieces.

Workshops bookings are available to suit your group on weekdays & weekends, afternoons or evenings. Sessions last approximately two hours and costs £35 per person, teas & coffees are included. If you would like to book a time & date in the diary or more information we’d love to hear from you.
